Kiteboarding at IOP & Sullivan’s Island

I’m noticing a definite theme developing in the last handful (if not more) posts on this blog: SPORTS!! I guess it should really come as no surprise, seeing as how in a past life I have been a hard-core bodyboarder, mountain biker, tennis player, rollerblader, ping pong champ, etc. (we won’t even mention all those bowling trophies I won as a 10-year-old.)

In any case, it seems clear I not only love participating in sports, but also photographing sports. And so with this post, the sports theme continues! I drove out to IOP and Sullivan’s Island Wednesday to see if any kiteboarders were taking advantage of the prevailing winds, and lucky for me, not only were plenty of guys out there, they were also really good!
